This is a vintage small redware plate, it is 6" wide. The plate has a deep cobalt blue center, a beaded gold band on the inner rim, wide gold trim on the outer rim, and a pattern of abstract circles and ovals in blue, cream and gold. The back is marked with a hand painted signature Price England in black and 1627 in gold. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I am not sure what it is, exactly. My best guess is a tea trivet for under a teapot. It might be a bread plate.
