This is a vintage hand painted cup and saucer with cobalt blue trim and gold swirls around the rims. The field is an orange-yellow ombre fade covered with enameled gold swirls and dots. There are hand painted roses and other flowers between the gold scrolls. There are also swirls at the base of the rim in green, embellished with white moriage enamel dots. The porcelain is very thin, translucent when held to the light. Neither piece is signed or marked. The cup is 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" high. The saucer is 5 3/8" wide. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. 1920s or earlier based o the style of decoration.
