This is a vintage Federal Glass line 2889 clear glass round cake plate. It has a pressed flower in the center, either a daisy or a sunflower, then a band of three rows of circles in graduated sizes. The rim is scalloped with panels and dots around the inside. The plate rests on three curved feet. It is 11 3/8" wide. There is a raised rim on the top around the edge to hold on a cake dome. The platter is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Federal produced this pattern of cake plate in the 1940s-50s. It does not have an official pattern name.
