Brocade is an acid etched ornate design of scrolls and flowers. The cake stand has a scalloped rim. The Lotus company bought plain, blank pieces of glass from high-quality glass manufacturers and then decorated them. In the 1960s, Lotus merged with Glastonbury and now all of their work is known as Glastonbury-Lotus. This cake stand was originally produced by New Martinsville in the 1930s. It is called the Princess stem. The cake stand is 10 5/8" wide and 5" tall. It is in very good to excellent condition. There is wear to the gold trim on the scalloped edge.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1022/2859/0773/files/s-l1600_a8ade268-f9e5-46fd-bfa5-bc26263a5dc5.jpg?v=1791560325
https://hoosiercollectibles.shop/products/glastonbury-lotus-gold-brocade-cake-stand-new-martinsville-princess-blank
