This is a vintage Dick Lehman studio art pottery small plate with hand painted accents. It has the seal of Goshen College pressed on the front. The seal says Goshen College 1894 Culture for Service. The hand painted words at the top say 50 years. This is odd because the culture for service slogan was created in 1904. Dick Lehman started his pottery studio in 1981. I don't know when the plate was actually made, but not at a time that the 50 years label makes any sense with the Goshen College dates. The plate is 7 3/4" wide. The back is marked Dick Lehman Goshen, Indiana and there is also a DL in a square. The plate is in excellent condition.
