This is an Imperial Candlewick single salt or pepper shaker. The shaker is 2 3/4" tall. This is the #96 squat shaker with eight beads or balls around the base. The metal lid is heavily corroded, and the glass is a little cloudy from storing salt. This is stem/line 3400. Candlewick was made from 1936-1984 and is considered an elegant Depression Glass pattern. MJ.
