This is a set of four Pfaltzgraff America pattern dinner plates. America was made by Pfaltzgraff for the Museum of American Folk Art, so they are marked with the Pfaltzgraff and MAFA backstamps. Each plate is 10 3/8" wide. There is one each of a basket, vase, star, and tree designs. The star plate has a small glaze skip or flat glaze ship on the rim. All four have a few utensil marks. Each plate has a blue sponge painted rim, and the center designs look like sponged versions of quilt blocks. Pfaltzgraff produced America between 1983-1989.
