This is a large porcelain plate or round platter decorated with a pair of gold peacocks with white chrysanthemums and green leaves. There are Chinese characters in black down the side and in red aross the top. The mark on the backs says Made in Taiwan Republic of China, I believe the backstamp dates to the 1970s. The plate is 12 1/4" wide. It is in excellent condition.
