This is a vintage lead crystal cut glass ball tilt orb ashtray for cigars or cigarettes. It is cut in rays or lines. There is a flat cut section on the base for it to rest on the table. That piece has an acid etched mark that reads Puth** Italy. The stars are placeholders for letters I can't read in the mark, but I think it is Puthod. The ashtray is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is 3 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide.
