This is a Rosenthal pink rose on white pattern chop plate or round platter. This design of pink roses is called Aida on some shapes, but I have seen Aida applied to rimmed shapes and this is a coupe shape. The platter is 13" wide. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but there is some wear to the gold trim. Rosenthal produced this pattern in the 1950s. The backstamp is green and says Rosenthal Selb-Plossberg Germany. Variations of that mark were used in the mid 1950s. CO.
