This is a Wedgwood of Etruria Beatrix Potter pattern children's lamp base. This is the base only, none of the other lamp components. It is 5 1/4" tall. The lamp reads "Peter ran straight away to Mr McGregor's garden, and squeezed under the gate! First he ate some lettuces and some French beans; and then he ate some radishes; And then, he went to look for some parsley." Wedgwood produced the Beatrix Potter or Peter Rabbit pattern from 1947-2024. It is now discontinued. The lamp base is in excellent condition.
