This is the lid only from a West Bend Aluminum locking cake saver or cake taker. The dome is silver with a black bakelite handle or knob on the top, and the image of a cut round layer cake over the word CAKE in black on the front. It is 11 3/8" wide and 5 3/4" tall at the shoulder, a little higher in the center. It has some minor dings and several scuffs and scratches, which is common to vintage aluminum pieces. The handle is marked West Bend.
