This is a vintage cobalt blue glazed simple oval soap dish. It is marked VB on the base. I have been unable to identify the maker. It is not Villeroy & Boch or Van Briggle, neither of them used this incised under glaze VB mark. The dish is 5 3/8" x 4 1/4" x 1 1/4." It is in excellent condition. I believe it was made in Japan.
