This is a vintage midcentury modern Silver Damask pattern Georges Briard signed sterling silver overlay clear glass round cake plate or tray. It is 11 3/8" wide with a scalloped and curved up rim. The plate is paneled in 10 segments, each section has a silver diamond or flower stem in the center. The tray is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Silver Damask has flowers and heart shaped leaves along with some ferns. It was made in the 1960s.
