This is a vintage Gibson Claremont pattern round covered vegetable or casserole dish. It is 10 5/8" wide and 5 1/4" high to the top of the lid. Claremont is a white glazed pattern with column ribs and embossed scrolls around the rim. Gibson produced Claremont between 2002-2010. It is an interesting pattern because some of the pieces are porcelain and some are heavier stoneware like ceramics. The covered dish is the heavier material. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The lid is not a great fit, I am not convinced it is the correct lid for this dish. It definitely is the correct lid for a dish in this pattern. Please see my other items for more in this pattern.
