This is a set of five Haviland Notre Dame pattern dinner plates. This pattern is also known as Schleiger 770. The plates are marked on the back with two backstamps: a red one that reads Decorated by Haviland Limoges, France, and a green one that reads Haviland France. Notre Dame is a pattern with gold trim, black and tan narrow blocks in a band around the rim, and small swags of pink and green flowers below the black and tan band. Each plate is 9 3/4" wide. They are in excellent condition with a few light utensil marks, but on chips or cracks. The backstamps date to between 1894-1931.
