This is a pair of small pieces of Hofbauer Crystal in the Byrdes pattern. They can be placed together to make a small candy or trinket box, but they are not intended to be used that way. The smaller piece is a 2 7/8" wide footed flared tiny bowl. There are three little crystal birds forming the feet of the bowl. The taller piece is the base of a candy box. It is also 2 7/8" wide and it is 2 1/2" tall. The candy is footed with a small pedestal foot. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Hofbauer produced The Byrdes in West Germany/Germany in the 1990s.
