This is a J.L. Hudson Vignaud Freres bird of paradise pattern gravy boat with an attached underplate. The gravy is in very good condition, there is a bit of wear to the gold trim. This pattern does not have a name, Replacements calls it VIG41. The gravy is marked twice. One mark says France Vignaud Limoges in a green circle, the other is also in green in two lines: The J.L. Hudson Co. Detroit, Mich. These marks date to between 1911-1938. The gravy is 9 1/4" x 6" x 3 1/2."
