This is a vintage Mother embossed porcelain mug or teacup. The word Mother is in a slanted box with scroll motifs. There is a bit of faded gold paint remaining on the Mother and frame. The cup also has hand painted embossed cherries, stems, and leaves. The mug is marked Germany on the base. It is 3 1/4" wide and 3 1/8" tall. There are no chips or cracks. This style of mug was made with a variety of family titles in the late 1800s-early 1900s.
