This is a vintage Nippon Hand Painted marked white porcelain condiment, jam, or mustard jar with a matching small ladle/spoon. It is decorated in cream and hand painted with gold roses, swags, and laurel on the rims. There is wear to the gold. The jar is 5 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" tall with the lid. The spoon is 5" long. There are no chips or cracks. The backstamp reads Nippon Hand Painted with a blue spoke wheel in the center. This mark dates to between 1911-1921.
