This is a pair of vintage Noritake Morimura Bros Nippon berry bowls. They are hand painted in curved panels. Three are pink and peach roses on a sky blue background, alternating with pale pink flowers and gray leaves on a white background. The borders between the panels are black and gold. The rim is black with a gold greek key pattern. Each bowl is 5 1/4" x 1 1/8." The mark on the back is green and says Hand Painted Nippon with an M in a wreath. This is a Morimura mark used by Morimura Bros from 1911-1921. The bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
