This is a set of six salad plates with a peach luster background and hand painted white cherry or plum blossoms on black branches. Peach lustreware from Japan generally dates to the 1920s-40s. The mark on the back is a red double circle with three leaves in the center and the words Hand Painted Made in Japan around the rim. Each plate is 7 3/8" wide. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
