This is a vintage Waechtersbach ceramic red plate that says "you are special today" in white around the rim and a flower in the center. The red glaze has tiny dark specks in it. The back is marked "The Original Red Plate Co. 1979 Made in Germany." The plate is 10 5/8" wide. It is in excellent condition.
