This is a Wedgwood of Etruria Beatrix Potter pattern children's dish porringer bowl. It is 6 5/8" wide. The bowl reads "But round the end of a cucumber frame, whom should he meet but Mr McGregor! he jumped up and ran after Peter, waving a rake and calling out 'Stop thief!'. Wedgwood produced the Beatrix Potter or Peter Rabbit pattern from 1947-2024. It is now discontinued. The porringer is in excellent condition.
